\'ght pointed slipper caused him to feel faint for two hours. A large amount of blood escaped at the urinary meatus at the time of the injury. The symptoms on admission were :? Tenderness and swelling in the perineum and retention of urine. The Assistant Surgeon on duty failed to pass any kind of catheter, and at 3-30 p.m. the bladder was aspirated supra-pubically and 23 oz. of bloody urine was drawn off.
